An established high street supplier is seeking a talented Senior Childrenswear Designer with experience across jersey, softs, and multi-product ranges. This is a hands-on role, requiring creativity, commercial awareness, and the ability to lead designs for teen and older childrenswear collections. You’ll work independently while mentoring junior designers and presenting confidently to buyers.

What you’ll do:

  • Design trend-led childrenswear collections across jersey, soft wovens, and multi-product.
  • Research trends and market insights to inspire innovative designs.
  • Develop ranges, create presentations, and maintain clear communication with buyers.
  • Support production and ensure designs meet quality, commercial, and timeline expectations.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and fostering development.

About you:

  • 5–7 years’+ experience in childrenswear, young/teen fashion, with multi-product knowledge.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of teen and older childrenswear markets.
  • Confident presenting to buyers and working independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, collaborating effectively with colleagues, buyers, and suppliers.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Illustrator; 3D design experience is a bonus.
  • Educated to degree level, preferably in fashion design.
