Veterinary Receptionist

Etwall Vets is an independent, up and coming first opinion practice in the village of Etwall in South Derbyshire. We are part of a small independent group consisting of a Veterinary Cardiology Referral Practice and another branch practice in the next village of Willington. We opened in 2020 and have continued to grow since then, continuing to expand our team as our workload increases. We are now looking for an extra pair of hands with the important client facing role on our reception desk.

We are looking for someone to join our existing friendly team of 6 vets , 7 nurses (we have a full time nursing position also available), 1 SVN and 5 receptionists. Hours would be a minimum of 18 hours split over 2 days in the week and 1 in 6 Saturday mornings. An ability to supply cover for holidays and sickness would also be appreciated.

Full training will be given, however, we do require you to have had some previous experience working within a veterinary practice environment as a receptionist/ACA/nurse. You should also have a love of dealing with the general public and being the welcoming face of the practice.
