Our client is a Greater Manchester based fast paced e-commerce business operating throughout the UK and Europe.

Key to their continued success the business is hiring an experienced Finance Director who will work closely with the CEO and take full ownership of the finance function. This hire will play a crucial role in driving their next growth period. The successful hire will drive financial strategy whilst being proactive and hands on.

The role

  1. Working closely with the CEO, own financial strategy, systems and processes
  2. Build and nurture the finance function, taking ownership of modelling, forecasting, cashflow management and profitability
  3. Own, develop and further refine financial models, driving key commercial decisions
  4. Work closely with colleagues in marketing, trading and operations to provide data which will drive actionable insights
  5. Manage cashflow and working capital as the business continues to grow
  6. Enhance business and financial efficiencies with streamlined and automated systems

The person

  1. A proven leader with experience in a high growth ecommerce, retail or wholesale brand
  2. Experience working in a fast paced environment
  3. Proficient in modelling, forecasting and cashflow management
  4. A data driven mind that can bring the numbers to life for people outside of the finance function
  5. Experience on system implementations and process development
  6. Strong finance leader that engages and develops and mentors
