About the Role
We are seeking a professional and proactive Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our property portfolio. In this role, you will ensure that properties are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and financially successful. While you will manage your own portfolio of properties, you will also collaborate with colleagues to support the wider business and contribute to its overall success. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills, effectively managing tenants, staff, vendors, and financial activities, all while upholding the company’s reputation, brand, and high standards. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a professional and best in class service to landlord clients, tenants, contractors and internal contacts.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of properties, including maintenance, inspections and repairs, ensuring high standards are consistently met.
- Act as the primary contact for tenants and landlords; handle enquiries, complaints, lease renewals, and disputes professionally and efficiently.
- Prepare and manage budgets, collect rent, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Ensure continuity of business, especially of landlord retention levels plus an excellent reputation in the marketplace by going the extra mile and acting ethically.
- Ensure compliance and good record keeping of the strict lettings legislation and company policies at all times.
- Take part in our wider business activities to promote the business across the community.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with reliable contractors.
- Assist with property marketing, viewings, and tenancy agreements to maximise occupancy and attract high-quality tenants.
- Manage tenancy agreements, renewals, and terminations in line with all relevant legislation; ensure compliance with deposit protection schemes.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with contractors and service providers to ensure quality work at competitive rates.
