Lab Technician – 6 months – £12.93-16.74 PH – Reading This position is ideal for a fresh Science Graduate wanting to take their first step into a lab environment. Working within a research and development lab the successful candidates will provide hands on assistance to support the operation and goals of the lab but supporting experiments and projects under technical guidance, working with teams and independently with the guidance of more senior team members maintaining equipment making sure they are always operable. Applying your technical understanding of equipment to support laboratory operations Recording and reporting data and activity outcome accurate, you will maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment and be proficient in generic and specific software packages. Candidates will have a science degree and be looking for their first role within a lab environment, candidates must be free immediately, suitable candidates must be able to commute to the site within 30 minutes as its extremely important that there is no delay in starting, no home working 36 hours a week Monday to Friday 9-5 or 8-4pm.
