Do you have a passion or interest in food science? We have an opportunity for candidates to join a large Blue chip Food organization to support a Science Group and analytical team. These positions will be a flexible technician role working across different departments including analytical, food product development and food manufacturing.
Duties include working in all departments to prepare samples, weigh ingredients, housekeeping, create new products, wet chemistry moisture analysis, prepare and grind cocoa beans, fill moulds and flow wrappers. Perform laboratory tasks following specified methodologies.
Candidates will have a passion and interest in food and cookery. An A level in a scientific discipline would be a distinct advantage. Follow product formulations and methods considering standard operating procedures and food safety to produce food products at bench scale or manufacturing. This is an early careers position, so full training will be given. This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate who is looking to work in different areas of the business and seek career progression.
