A world leading investment manager are searching for a Senior DevOps engineer to join their team on a contract basis. You will support, improve, and modernise the DevOps Toolchain by delivering secure, auditable, and supportable capabilities that enable a wide range of users to deliver software safely and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve DevOps platform capabilities in direct partnership with developers, and control functions.
- Provide third-line support for CI/CD platforms, build agents, and self-hosted tooling.
- Represent operational, security, audit, and risk requirements as first-class design inputs.
- Drive automation, reliability, and continuous delivery practices.
- Facilitate consensus across communities with differing priorities, proposing pragmatic, risk-aware solutions.
The environment spans both Azure and AWS, with the majority of infrastructure currently hosted in Azure (roughly 50/50, but Azure-heavy). There is a strong focus on GitHub, as this is the strategic direction the organisation is moving toward.
