Every new asset class starts the same way: with no agreed price, no clean data, and no infrastructure to trade it properly. That's where GPU compute sits today. Billions of dollars change hands in Hopper, Blackwell, and MI3XX deals, yet pricing is cloudy, deals are negotiated in the dark, and the tools to hedge or finance compute barely exist. This business has put some great minds together to build the exchange-grade infrastructure to fix that — live pricing data (including feeds already on Bloomberg terminals), deal-matching tools, and financial instruments to price, hedge, and settle compute transactions at scale.
They're looking for a quantitative researcher/trader who wants to help write the rulebook for this market before it's written. You'll spend your time turning messy private deal data into real pricing models, figuring out how to hedge risks like compute price swings, hardware depreciation, and counterparty credit, and shaping the instruments that will let this market trade the way oil, wheat, or equities do today. It's early, the data is imperfect, and that's exactly the point - the person in this role won't be maintaining an existing model, they'll be building new ones.
