Would you like the opportunity to upgrade and evolve the corporate & trading networks at a 250-person UK-based Hedge Fund? This firm's flat structure and collaborative nature set it apart from the industry; are you the idea generator they're looking for?
You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, automating and supporting their networking environment while approaching it with a security-first mindset. The existing team of three are in the process of re-thinking their low-latency trading networks, alongside expanding their DC presence in both the UK & US. You’ll also help to rebuild their management network whilst architecting office moves. Their infrastructure is mostly on-prem, although they have recently begun migrating a number of key services to AWS.
This is still a hands-on role, so don't worry about losing your technical skills. You’ll automate where possible using Python. You’ll ideally have worked within an Arista or Cisco environment and have expertise in BGP, NAC and deploying wifi networks.
