You're stepping into architectural ownership of a data ecosystem that sits at the heart of one of the UK's most significant investment organisations.

This is a hands-on role where you're designing and shaping the data platforms that power Member Services, Finance and Pension Investment Management.

You're not maintaining someone else's vision here.

You're defining how data flows, how it's modelled and how it supports decisions across an organisation responsible for safeguarding and investing around £40 billion in assets.

You'll be working across investment data, operational reporting, analytics and regulatory requirements, translating complex business needs into scalable, well-architected solutions.

There's real involvement in the wider technology and AI strategy too, so your thinking will reach well beyond the immediate data layer.

The organisation administers several pension schemes, including one of the UK's largest and longest established investment funds.

The scale is significant and the impact of getting the architecture right is felt across the whole business.

On the technical side, you're working with MS SQL and Microsoft Fabric or similar modern platforms.

You're strong on data modelling across warehousing, reporting and analytics, and you know how to design for investment operations.

Your understanding of data integration and ETL/ELT is solid, and you can move comfortably between a technical conversation and a business one.

The package includes up to £120k, 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays, a generous bonus plan, life assurance, health cash plan, electric vehicle leasing, cycle to work, paid volunteering days, and hybrid and flexible working.
