You’ll be joining as a Software Developer helping the company cater to its diversification of assets. As the firm expands into new markets, this role will be crucial in developing and owning new in-house systems to drive this growth.
You'll take ownership of key projects, from rebuilding internal tools to optimising and developing real-time trading platforms that are essential to the firm’s operations. You’ll work closely with business users to understand their needs, driving change projects that directly impact the firm's success.
You’ll be responsible for writing and maintaining high-quality, testable code, whether you’re supporting existing infrastructure, maintaining software built by the team, or delivering new systems. The ideal candidate will be a strong backend engineer.
The team are language agnostic and will tend to use the best tools for the job such as C# or Java. You’ll be working with highly distributed systems, so having that experience of working within a data-driven environment would be beneficial. Being familiar with tools such as Kafka or Flink as well as big data processing and data analysis skills would help here.
Strong communication skills are essential as you’ll be working closely with traders and other stakeholders to enhance system performance and contribute to the firm’s expanding multi-asset strategy.
