This is a contract where you can genuinely modernise technology, rather than simply maintain what’s already broken. You’ll be joining a global investment management firm that takes technology seriously - 25% of the organisation works in tech-focused roles, and they are making significant investments in new functions and capability upgrades across the business.
The work is varied and genuinely interesting. You’ll lead modernisation initiatives across Windows servers, drive .NET version upgrades, and support cloud migration projects. With multiple programmes running in parallel, you’ll have the opportunity to work across a broad range of technologies rather than being confined to a single area.
The objective is to modernise and standardise the technology stack, moving away from legacy architecture towards a more cloud-native environment. You’ll work with AWS across deployments, upgrades, and migrations, use Terraform to manage infrastructure and build processes, and gain hands-on experience with agentic code pipelines.
Ideal candidates will have strong C# experience and a track record of transforming legacy systems into scalable platforms the business can build on, combining expertise across infrastructure, platform engineering, and development.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, operating on a hybrid basis with two to three days onsite each week. If you bring strong C# development experience, proven AWS expertise across migrations and deployments, Terraform skills, and previous exposure to agentic code pipelines, this could be the role for you.
