Are you interested in joining a world-leading financial exchange? Over the last 12 months, this firm has made significant investments in its technology estate, including a new trading system, a streaming platform, and laying the foundations for something much bigger. And the pace isn't slowing down.
In this role, you'll work across application support and reliability engineering, while gaining hands-on experience with Linux, OpenShift/Kubernetes, and Python. You'll play a key role in helping the business migrate away from legacy systems and towards a modern, containerised technology environment.
This is not a company where technology is an afterthought. It sits at the heart of the business, and the people building it are given the space, autonomy, and support to do their best work.
The team operates across the entire exchange, supporting mission-critical trading, clearing, and market data applications. However, no previous finance experience is needed.
You'll be joining a close-knit London-based team, supported by experienced engineers and a manager who is hands-on, flexible, and genuinely invested in your development. And if, further down the line, you'd like to explore a different area of the business - whether that's security, infrastructure, or software development - you'll be encouraged and supported to do so. People aren't boxed in here.
The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years' experience, have a passion for technology and have worked with similar technology (Linux, Kubernetes and Python) in either a platform, SRE or application support role.
