This is a hands-on leadership role within a PE-backed, international manufacturing business at an early stage of cyber maturity.

You’ll have the opportunity to build, not simply maintain, the security function: assessing the current environment, delivering immediate improvements, and creating a longer-term, risk-based roadmap across IT, OT, data, and third-party security.

Reporting to the CIO, you’ll establish governance and baseline controls, strengthen security operations and incident readiness, and improve alignment with frameworks including ISO 27001 and NIS2.

You’ll also develop board-level reporting, raise security awareness, and lead a lean team supported by external partners.

You’ll bring senior cyber leadership experience and a track record of building pragmatic security capabilities in low-maturity environments.

Experience working in a manufacturing or OT environment is a must, along with the ability to operate strategically while remaining close to delivery.

This is a rare opportunity to shape a cyber function with strong investor support and a genuine mandate for change.

This role is based in London and paying around £120k base.
