A leading investment manager are seeking a data scientist to come in and support the wider team on a number of mandates. You will ideally have experience / exposure to:
- Recommendation Engines - effective suggestions based on behavioural or events data
- Churn Modelling - identifying patterns in lost client business
- Affinity Scoring - measuring strength of alignment in preferences, behaviours, and needs between similar individuals or organisations
- Predictive Modelling - assessing the likelihood of future behaviours/needs based on past patterns of actions (including validating these models and monitoring them for drift once in production)
- Commercial outcomes focus - models should be optimised with business metrics rather than academic ones in mind
- Experience with Snowflake/Databricks/Data Warehousing tools
- Understanding of dbt and working closely with Data Engineering teams
- Experience in regulated data environments
Nice to have:
- Record Linkage or Entity Resolution (people and organisation focus)
- Knowledge and interest in business data and financially literate
