Join a high-performance Platform Engineering team at a fast-growing, technology-led hedge fund. You’ll play a key role in building and scaling a global infrastructure platform that powers trading, research, and data workloads across on-prem and virtualised environments.
You will need to be a Linux systems SME, focusing on provisioning and configuring physical and virtual servers across data centres and co-location facilities. You’ll help design and maintain high-availability infrastructure, automate systems administration using Infrastructure as Code, and continuously improve the reliability, scalability, and observability of the platform.
This is a role for engineers who enjoy solving complex infrastructure problems, writing automation rather than running manual processes, and taking real ownership of systems in production. The firm operates more like a fintech than a traditional hedge fund: ~350 employees globally, flat structure with minimal red tape, working with Engineers who are trusted to design, build, and improve systems.
Location: Central London - 4x days on site
As expected from a fund of this calibre, you can expect to achieve an attractive base salary + bonus. They are keeping the budget open to attract the best Engineers.
