You’ll be working closely with a highly technical data team that’s filled with bright and technically strong engineers.

This isn’t just a support team where you sit around waiting for things to happen, you’re proactively working with Quants, traders, software and data engineers supporting the trading and back office database estate and data pipelines. You\’ll provide first line support for the trading data pipelines and systems used around the world.

In the past, graduates from these team have progressed to become Data, Cloud, Infrastructure or Python engineers within the business. You’re not expected to stay in this team forever. Think of it as a perfect learning experience for a couple of years, understand the inner workings of the trading platform and then progress to a new team. The trading platforms are built using C++, Python and PostgreSQL on Linux and you’ll be exposed to all of these and more!

You don’t need to have any prior experience of finance or even in a commercial position. All you need is to be a graduate in a STEM subject and be keen to learn all about trading systems, fixing bugs in them and creating new, automated solutions. Any exposure to SQL or PostgreSQL would be great but not essential!

Your starting salary will be £35,000 plus a performance related bonus – both yours and the company – plus a range of benefits including flexible leave, an on-site gym and a great social environment.
