Modernise the infrastructure environment at a smaller hedge fund
You’ll be joining a boutique hedge fund where technology plays a critical role in supporting trading and investment teams.
The environment is highly collaborative, with everyone in the tech function working together to keep systems running smoothly and drive forward new initiatives.
The role is a 50/50 split between Engineering projects and BAU support.
You’ll be helping around 70 business users, including Traders and Portfolio Managers, based primarily in the London HQ, with additional colleagues in satellite offices in APAC and Europe.
On the project side, you’ll be contributing to major initiatives such as an SD-WAN rollout, cloud migration, and a range of modernisation efforts.
The team is highly focused on automation and efficiency, so you’ll be working with tools like PowerShell, Ansible and Terraform, and you’ll have the chance to suggest new technologies and ways of working.
This is a hands-on technical role where you’ll also get exposure across multi-cloud environments (Azure and AWS), Palo Alto firewalls, and networking.
To thrive here, you’ll need strong experience in Windows environments, previous project delivery experience alongside BAU work, and some scripting capability. Most importantly, you should be someone who’s curious, proactive, and keen to expand your technical skill set.
