Overview
You’ll be the person who builds this from scratch, and that doesn't happen often. This is a newly created role inside one of the UK's most established investment organisations, one responsible for safeguarding and growing around £40 billion in assets for its members. The mission is long-term, the purpose is real, and the AI Platforms capability you're about to build doesn't exist yet.
Responsibilities
- You'll own it end to end: strategy, governance, delivery, and the team around you.
- You're working across Microsoft low-code and pro-code environments, shaping how AI gets adopted across the enterprise and sitting close enough to the executive table to actually influence the direction.
- Your days will move between platform architecture and stakeholder conversations.
- You'll be defining environment strategy, setting DLP and governance standards, scaling a citizen development model, and making sure the tools your organisation runs on – Power Platform, AI Foundry, MS Fabric, Copilot Studio, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI – are working hard and working safely.
- You'll manage vendors, own a budget, and build business cases that land at board level.
- You'll lead a technical team and bring people with you.
