Your work directly shapes how the front office performs, and you own the technology that makes it happen.
This is a fund that blends discretionary and systematic trading. Quant and human judgement sit side by side here, and the technology function sits right at the heart of that. You are not supporting the front office from a distance. You are embedded in it. The fund is actively launching new strategies, giving you ownership of real technology delivery as new funds come to life, with deep and growing exposure to trading.
You'll spend the majority of your time building and evolving front office systems, working closely with traders and quants to understand what they need and then delivering it. But this isn't just another senior engineering role. You'll act as the CTO's technical counterpart, taking ownership of day-to-day technical leadership while he focuses on broader technology initiatives across the wider asset management business.
Strong C#, Python and SQL experience is essential, but equally important is the ability to own technical direction. You'll likely be a Tech Lead, Principal Engineer or hands-on Engineering Manager who still enjoys building software every day while taking responsibility for architecture, technical decisions and the evolution of a critical trading platform.
Compensation is up to £300,000 total, with a strong bonus tied to both your personal contribution and fund performance. As the fund grows and new strategies launch, the trajectory on that only goes one way.
The role is fully in office, which is where the real conversations happen and where you stay close to the people and strategies you are supporting.
