Imagine being the person who puts AI agents into production at a trading firm, and then watches the rest of the business start building on what you made.
That’s the opportunity here. A leading London investment fund is embedding AI into how it trades and how its engineers work, and it needs a DevOps engineer who can turn that ambition into something real. Agents running in production, supporting live infrastructure, with your name behind them.
The environment is mostly cloud, with some on-prem still in the mix, and the team is small and technically deep. There’s no layer of process between you and the work. When you have an idea about how AI could automate something, you’ll be the one building it, and people will notice when it lands.
Day to day, you’ll be working across Kubernetes, infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines, writing Python that goes well beyond quick scripts. The goal for your first year is clear: AI agents running in the DevOps environment, and a platform that lets developers and users across the firm start using AI themselves.
The team is small and technically deep, so there’s no layer of process between you and the outcome. When you spot a way AI could automate something, you’ll be the one who builds it, and people will notice when it lands. Your ideas won’t get lost in a backlog or a committee. They’ll get shipped.
You’ll be working in an environment where technology is a genuine edge, not a cost centre. That means the business cares about what you deliver, moves quickly when something works, and gives you room to try new approaches.
If you’re the kind of engineer who keeps up with where AI is heading and wants to put it to use rather than just read about it, this is the place to do it.
If you’ve been waiting for a role where AI is the actual job rather than a side project, let’s talk.
