Data Engineer (Databricks) | Trading Firm | Up to £700/day | Inside IR35
Build the data infrastructure behind one of the most high-stakes industries in the world.
The data you build and maintain will have a direct line to decisions that move markets.
You’ll join as a Senior Data Engineer, with Databricks at the centre of your work.
You’ll build, maintain, and improve the pipelines the wider business relies on, while also taking ownership of the platform itself.
This isn’t just about using Databricks — you’ll be comfortable stepping into the administration and management side too.
You’ll bring strong Python, Py Spark, and SQL skills, writing clean, efficient code and knowing when something needs to be rebuilt rather than patched.
You’ll also work closely with data science and machine learning teams, so you understand what they need from the infrastructure you provide and can speak their language.
Experience in a trading environment would be a strong advantage.
This is a hybrid role, giving you flexibility while keeping you close enough to the team to be part of a genuinely collaborative environment.
Ready to work somewhere the data actually matters?
