Job Description
Ready to drive real change in LNG trading operations?
Here’s your chance to own the LNG trade lifecycle at a fast-growing trading desk, with real influence, real delivery, and a salary up to £90,000.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be the go-to analyst for shaping how physical LNG trades are captured, scheduled, and delivered, end to end. Working closely with operators, traders, and tech teams, you'll join at a time of major investment into LNG systems, and you’ll be central to making it all work.
You’ll map out processes, uncover bottlenecks, and help design solutions that directly support front and middle office workflows. You’ll lead conversations between business and tech, help drive new feature rollouts, and make sure what’s delivered actually works for the people using it.
You’ll be part of a small, collaborative team that values speed, clarity, and getting things done. It’s an agile setup, close to the front office, hybrid working (3 days in London), and a flat structure where your voice gets heard.
Why join?:
This is a rare chance to join a rapidly expanding LNG trading desk within one of the leading independent energy and commodity groups, a business that’s investing heavily to stay ahead in a complex, evolving market.
You won’t be a small cog in a vast machine. Instead, you’ll have real autonomy to influence critical trading systems and processes, working alongside experienced traders and operators who value your input.
What you need:
You’ve worked in physical LNG trading environments before, not just watching from the sidelines, but right in the middle of the action. You understand the pace, the complexity, and the detail involved in scheduling, nominations, and cargo ops.
You’re confident bridging the gap between trading, operations, and technology. You know how to gather requirements that actually make sense and how to turn that into solutions people want to use.
