Senior Data Analysis Engineer

The successful candidate must possess strong analytical skills, in-depth understanding of data engineering principles and the ability to translate business requirements into high quality data solutions Designs and develops data pipelines for the preparation, transformation and loading of data into the appropriate data storage Oversee ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations to ensure data from various sources is accurately transformed and loaded into data stores. Implement data quality check, validation rules, and profiling techniques to maintain high data integrity. Work on data cleansing and normalisation to ensure data usability for business reporting and analysis purposes. Communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members ensuring alignment on project goals and data strategies. Optimise data models for performance and scalability. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues ensuring systems and pipelines run smoothly. May lead smaller projects or part of larger projects involving planning, execution and reporting Support code reviews, help mentor team members and guide project tasks Participation in design and implementation of data warehousing solutions as required to meet business needs. Adhere to architecture, design, implementation, and security standards and best practices. Prepare technical documentation, including data flow, data storage design, test results, and technical manuals. Ensures data consistency and integrity during the integration process, performing data validation and cleaning as needed. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing. ~ An expert working knowledge of Python and Azure Synapses. ~2 – 3 years experience of working within a data analyst / engineering capacity.
