A dynamic and prestigious professional services company based in the City of London have the newly created opportunity for a creative and results-driven PR Executive to join their team. This role sits in the company press office and supports the management of global media activity. The PR executive will be responsible for supporting the business with driving engagement, building brand awareness, and supporting business objectives. Alongside the Senior PR Manager, the PR executive will develop impactful PR content against the organisation’s service lines and key industries.
The main focus of the role will include:
- Support the production of press releases, media statements, executive quotes, and articles that align with key press office objectives, strategies and campaigns.
- Assist with developing and pitching content and commentary to develop strong relationships with sector media contacts.
- Field incoming media enquiries and work with the Senior PR Manager to coordinate responses with company subject matter experts.
- Manage the press office’s media monitoring and analysis of business media coverage and sentiment.
- Create media lists and manage press office monitoring tools to aid content scheduling.
- Assist with social media monitoring to scope proactive content ideas and protect the company brand and corporate reputation.
- Support social media content creation for leadership news, amplification of business reports, articles and thought leadership, and PR highlights.
- Build a social media strategy, identifying key platforms, messages, and activities to meet the businesses strategic priorities.
To succeed in this role, the individual will need:
- A qualification in public relations, communications or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a busy press office, or a PR agency.
- Proficiency in media monitoring analytics tools and social media management.
- Experience working in a professional services background is desirable.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate impactful stories.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
