A dynamic and prestigious professional services company based in the heart of the City of London are seeking a talented Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join their Technical Team. This multifaceted position offers an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to manage and maintain the cloud infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and scalability. The successful candidate will be responsible for global Domain and DNS management, Cloud Infrastructure service and operational maintenance. This role involves troubleshooting infrastructure issues, planning and implementing upgrades, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
The main focus of the role will include:
- Management and maintenance of global Domain and DNS systems: Oversee the administration and upkeep of Global Domain Name System (DNS) and Domain Management to ensure seamless connectivity, security and optimal performance.
- Perform server maintenance reviews working in partnership with cloud service providers, including updates, patches, and backups. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
- Implement infrastructure upgrades and improvements. Plan and execute enhancements and upgrades to the IT infrastructure to support evolving business needs and technological advancement.
- Participate in the IT change management process for deployment of Cloud Infrastructure and Domain Management solutions to ensure all changes are thoroughly reviewed, tested and approved before implementation.
To succeed in this role, the individual will need:
- Strong knowledge of global Domain and DNS management solutions.
- Proficiency in IT Infrastructure maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for IT and Microsoft Azure Infrastructure.
- Effective communication skills.
