Due to continued business growth, we’re looking for a motivated and ambitious Graduate Trainee Financial Adviser to join a friendly and growing financial planning business that genuinely puts people first, in this newly created role. About the Role

This role is designed to provide exposure across all areas of the financial planning process while developing the technical knowledge, client relationship skills, and commercial understanding needed to progress into an Advisory position. Working closely with Financial Planners and Paraplanners, you’ll support both new and existing clients while learning how to deliver an outstanding client experience. You’ll gain valuable experience across client servicing, administration, financial planning processes, and relationship management.

This role is ideal for someone who is organised, personable, eager to learn, and passionate about building a career in financial services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Financial Planners with the preparation and follow-up of client meetings
  • Build positive relationships with clients and provide a professional first point of contact
  • Organise client meetings and manage Financial Planner diaries
  • Prepare client documentation and meeting packs
  • Process new business accurately and efficiently
  • Liaise with providers and chase outstanding information
  • Maintain accurate client records and update back-office systems
  • Assist with annual reviews and ongoing client servicing
  • Support the preparation of valuations and financial planning documentation
  • Draft client correspondence and meeting summaries
  • Learn about financial products, regulations, and financial planning strategies
  • Ensure compliance standards and business processes are followed at all times
