We are looking for a dynamic, well‑organised, self‑starter to join our Sixth Form team to develop links with local businesses, arrange work placements, and support students through extended placements. The candidate will support effective and efficient administration of the sixth form and careers provisions, and communicate confidently via email, telephone and face‑to‑face with prospective employers, students and parents.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with local businesses to secure work placements.
  • Coordinating and overseeing the Pre‑Apprenticeship programme, ensuring students balance school and workplace commitments.
  • Providing administrative support to the sixth form and careers team.
  • Communicating with employers, students and parents regarding placement arrangements and outcomes.
  • Working collaboratively as part of the Sixth Form team and taking an active interest in operational priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills written and verbal.
  • Experience or interest in community engagement and work‑placement programmes preferred.
