Role Description

The Therapy Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Burton with expectation to travel to surrounding locations. The role involves overseeing and managing the delivery of high-quality therapeutic services to clients. Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising a team of therapists
  • Monitoring service efficacy
  • Coordinating therapy sessions
  • Ensuring adherence to best practices
  • Liaising with other support teams or external organizations as needed

The Therapy Manager will also play a key part in developing and implementing strategies to meet client needs effectively.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience and expertise in therapy provision and managing therapeutic services beneficial
  • Proficiency in supervising and supporting a team of therapists or mental health practitioners
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and team collaboration
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategies tailored to client needs
  • Understanding of safeguarding measures and confidentiality protocols
  • Relevant qualifications in Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
  • Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role is highly beneficial

The Therapy Manager will report directly to the Head of Services.
