The Whey Process Operator (WPO) position is a key role for ensuring the high-quality of product being processed, utilising computers to control the parameters of machinery, running ongoing checks for key metrics, recording data on systems, along with manual responsibilities such as pipe changes, some manual carrying, and cleaning.
This is a position well suited to someone with experience utilising multiple computer systems, with hands-on experience with a range of gauges, valves, meter readers, etc.
Shift pattern: 3-on/3-off, days only
YOU’LL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY…
- Operating a process plant component to the required quality and process standards.
- Implementing the production plan and monitoring compliance against the plan.
- Ensuring required samples are taken for testing by the technical department.

- Experienced working with computer systems in a role.
- Able to demonstrate an understanding and hands-on experience working with gauges, pressure valves, meter readers, etc.
- Someone that has strong teamworking skills.
- Able to demonstrate the ability to learn the technical aspects of processes.
- Able to show an understanding and willingness to comply with all food standards (GMP, health & safety etc.) consistent with working in a world-class food manufacturing environment.
