Saputo Dairy UK’s portfolio includes the Nation’s favourite cheese brand Cathedral City, alongside household names such as Clover, Country Life, Vitalite and Utterly Butterly, as well as dairy ingredients and dairy-free products.

We are looking for an Account Manager to lead strategically important accounts while identifying and developing longer-term customer opportunities that support SDUK’s growth ambitions. The role is responsible for building strong, cross-functional internal partnerships and trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders, as well as developing, negotiating and delivering annual business plans that align with SDUK’s strategy and brand objectives.

YOU’LL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY…

  • Building strong, collaborative internal and external relationships to unlock sustainable growth opportunities for SDUK across Booker and Costco and a wider portfolio of customers as the role evolves.
  • Leading clear, proactive communication and commercial negotiations, underpinned by a strong understanding of the complexity and dynamics of these key accounts.
  • Supporting and delivering agreed NPD and category strategies across Booker and Costco, with scope to influence and support additional customers in line with SDUK priorities.
  • Owning and delivering the annual business planning process to drive greater certainty, shared value, and long-term partnerships for both SDUK and its customers.

YOU’RE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU…

  • Bring proven experience in Sales or Account Management within an FMCG environment, including exposure to Own Label propositions.
  • Demonstrate a strong track record of leading and negotiating annual Joint Business Plans (JBPs), successfully identifying and landing new commercial opportunities.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, with a consistent ability to build effective relationships internally, cross-functionally, and with senior customer stakeholders.
  • Show strong organisational capability, enabling effective prioritisation, planning, and execution across complex accounts.
  • Are highly analytical, able to translate data and insight into compelling, creative recommendations that drive both category and SDUK growth.
  • Exhibit a high level of commercial and business acumen, with a clear understanding of P&L management and value creation.
