The Whey Process Operator (WPO) position is a key role for ensuring the high quality of product being processed. This role involves operating process plant equipment, managing computer systems for controlling machinery parameters, monitoring key metrics, recording data, and performing manual tasks such as pipe changes, carrying, and cleaning.
Shift pattern: 3-on/3-off, days and nights, 7-7.
Responsibilities:- Operate process plant component to required quality and process standards.
- Implement production plan and monitor compliance against the plan.
- Ensure required samples are taken for testing by the technical department.
- Experience working with computer systems.
- Hands-on experience with gauges, pressure valves, meter readers, and other instrumentation.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to learn technical aspects of processes.
- Willingness to comply with all food standards (GMP, health and safety, etc.).
