We’re looking for a passionate and driven Assistant Brand Manager to join our Butter and Spreads Marketing team. This is a true full‑mix role where you’ll support and lead initiatives that fuel brand growth across an exciting portfolio including Clover, Country Life, Utterly Butterly and Vitalite. From NPD and packaging development to PR, digital campaigns and performance analysis, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of these much‑loved household brands. This is a role with real depth and progression potential. You’ll have the autonomy to spot opportunities, influence cross‑functional teams and make a meaningful impact on brands enjoyed by millions.
YOU’LL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY…
- Leading and supporting brand initiatives across the portfolio - including Clover, Country Life, Utterly Butterly, Vitalite, Willow and private label
- Developing and delivering fully integrated marketing plans from NPD and packaging to PR, experiential and in-store activation
- Managing A&P budgets responsibly and ensuring smooth, accurate PO processing
- Contributing to the creation of our long-term (3-5 year) portfolio growth strategy
- Activating annual brand plans and bringing to life internally and externally
- Co-creating and executing digital marketing strategies that deliver against agreed KPIs
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Shopper Marketing, Category and Insights, Commercial, Finance and R&D to ensure seamless execution
- Monitoring brand performance, reporting regularly and turning insights into clear, actionable plans

- Experienced in a similar brand‑management role within a relevant FMCG or food/beverage manufacturing environment
- Commercially competent in interpreting P&Ls, sales data, performance tracking and budget management

- Up‑to‑date with social media trends and able to anticipate what’s coming next
- A collaborative team player who enjoys working cross‑functionally
- An effective communicator, able to influence and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
