The Operator, Production is responsible for assisting in the manufacturing and bulk format finishing/packaging of cheese in accordance with the standards and safety objectives established by Senior Management of the company.**Schedule:**Biweekly rotating schedule –Week 1-2: Sun, Mon, Tues; 6:00 am-6:00 pmWeek 3-4: Sun, Mon, Tues, Sat; 6:00 am-6:00 pm**Wage: $26.55/hour**There are 2 salary increases in the first year of employment, with a target rate of $29.50/hour.**We support and care for our employees and their families by providing:*** Generous and complete benefit coverage with group insurance* Group retirement plan with employer contribution* Telemedicine and assistance program for employees and their families* Employee Share Ownership Plan with an employer match* Paid Parental Leave program* Paid time off: Sick days, floater days and volunteer day off* Opportunity to contribute to a collective RRSP & TFSA* Training and development programs* Organized activities for employees and their families* Advantageous discounts on Saputo products**How you will make contributions that matter:*** Operate all production equipment as per standard operating procedures to ensure the highest quality product possible* Responsible for receiving of raw materials such as incoming milk, UF Milk, cream, secondary culture, and whey* Record all required data and inventory entries with a high level of accuracy* Understand the disassembly & assembly of cheese production equipment* Assist in the manufacturing process and cleaning process as required* Ensure that safe conditions exist always within the work environment; will take appropriate action to protect the health and safety of employees and comply with all requirements as stated in the Health and Safety policy* Full participation in the HACCP program and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices* Ensure the efficient and effective use of equipment and material resource* Must demonstrate teamwork, co-operation, responsibility, initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision* Other duties as assigned**You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:*** Sound communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrated analytical and organizational skills* Must be self-motivated, results oriented and possess high degree of initiative, and work well with minimal supervision* Must be available to work various shifts, weekends, and work overtime as required* Demonstrate ability to use computer software and programs* Proficiency and dependability in current positionAll applications are carefully considered by our Talent Acquisition team.
