We're looking for motivated individuals to join our production team as Machine Operators at Saputo's centre of excellence in Nuneaton. This is a varied role involving manual handling and heavy lifting, machine setting and running, with progression into fault finding and front‑line maintenance of mechanical and electronic machinery such as HMI screens and PLC systems.

Shift Pattern and Salary

4 days, 4 off, 4 nights, 4 off etc. Day shift is 06:45 – 19:00, Night shift is 18:45 – 07:00. Salary £35,576 + site bonus scheme up to £800 per annum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run, clean and set up factory equipment.
  • Operate and monitor cutting and packing machines to maintain smooth and efficient production flow.
  • Carry out 30‑minute quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and compliance to standards.
  • Work with the rest of the shift team to achieve production targets and maintain high standards.
  • Ensure adherence to health & safety, food safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Identify and report any equipment issues promptly to minimise downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality checks and production data.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Hands‑on experience operating and setting up production machinery, ideally in a food manufacturing or high‑care environment.
  • Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards and diligent compliance.
  • Detail and quality focused with the ability to carry out regular checks and maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues to meet production targets.
  • Proactive and reliable.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
