SDUK's brands include the Nations favourite cheese brand Cathedral City plus other well-known butter & spreads (Clover, Country Life, Vitalite, Utterly Butterly), functional ingredients and dairy free products. This role sits within the Saputo Dairy UK flagship site where we primarily focus on the production of our multi award-winning cheddars.
As the Site Administrator you will be responsible for all organisational, secretarial, and administrative support to the Site Director and her wider Plant Leadership Team (PLT). Supporting the Site Director, who holds overall responsibility for the success of the plant, you'll play a key role in ensuring the PLT have the information required to make informed decisions during leadership meetings. You will act as the first point of contact for internal and external visitors in a high footfall reception, ensuring a smooth running of operations for all visitors both in person and through the switchboard, maintaining a professional manner with people from a range of different levels of seniority.
YOU'LL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY:
- Ensuring information is collated and made readily available for leadership meetings, and contributing with additional information as required.
- Setting the standard with welcoming visitors to site in a friendly and professional manner.
- Supporting with onsite and offsite event organisation, including catering, travel and accommodation booking.
- Being a duty holder for the display screen equipment risk control standards.
- Acting as the go-to person on site for questions and queries.
- Collating information for the site weekly newsletter and ensuring timely distribution.
YOU'RE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU ARE:
- Experienced working within a similar position in a fast-paced and high-pressured environment.
- A good communicator and able to demonstrate a friendly and professional demeanor at all times, in person and over the phone.
- Able to manage your own diary and workload effectively, plus that of the Site Director.
- Comfortable using all MS Office products.
- Detail-orientated.
