Shift Engineer

SDUK’s brands include the Nations favourite cheese brand Cathedral City plus other well-known butter & spreads (Clover, Country Life, Vitalite, Utterly Butterly), functional ingredients and dairy free products. After significant financial investment from group, leading to 9 additional lines moving to the site, we are looking to hire multiple electrical shift engineers to the support the shifts and play a key role in the continued evolution of the engineering department and strategies. This is a hands-on role, where your responsibilities will initially be working on PPMs, with some reactive requirements, also 80/20 split. Going forwards, we will be moving to where youll have 60% of your time on planned works, 20% on reactive, and 20% on continuous improvement (CI) activities. Within the role, youll be working on all matters of electrical engineering, and we will look to you to bring prior experience with utilising PLCs for faults-finding.
