  • Design and build high-quality detections (threat modelling, mapping & testing)
  • Proactively hunt for hidden threats across managed services
  • Turn threat intelligence into real-world security outcomes
  • Lead and escalate during major security incidents
  • Drive lessons learned and improve how we respond
  • Own SOC processes, playbooks and automation
  • Mentor Tier 2 analysts and support the on‑call rota (approximately 1 in 3 weeks)
  • Technical ownership
