We are seeking a skilled and proactive Operations Scheduler to join our team, supporting the delivery of essential wastewater services on our Anglian Water network.

About the role:
This role is central to the coordination of our Tankering works, ensuring that field teams are deployed efficiently and that all customer issues – from blockages to pollution incidents – are responded to within tight timeframes.
As a Operations Scheduler, you will:
- Schedule and coordinate all planned tankering activities, including sewer maintenance, capacity management, and support for engineering works.
- Optimise routing and resource allocation to maximise efficiency and minimise travel time and costs.
- Monitor live job progress, updating internal systems and maintaining real-time communication with field teams.
- Liaise with internal teams and customers to communicate access requirements, service impacts, and schedule updates.
- Adjust schedules dynamically in response to operational changes, resource constraints, or network needs.
- Collaborate with Operational and Compliance teams to align tankering with broader maintenance programmes.
- Ensure accurate job logging, documentation, and closure, raising follow-on tasks or compliance actions as needed.
- Promote a customer-first approach, delivering planned activities with professionalism and minimal disruption.
- Support and guide field teams on scheduling practices and expectations to ensure consistent service delivery.
About you:
- Previous experience in a scheduling, planning, or coordination role, ideally in utilities or field services.
- Strong understanding of customer service principles and a passion for delivering excellent experiences.
- Familiarity with wastewater network operations or related environmental/emergency response scenarios is desirable.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Confident using scheduling and work management systems
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to problem-solve and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
- A team player who contributes to a positive working culture and high-performing teams.
