Sapphire Independent Housing are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Education, Training & Employment (ETE) Coordinator to join their team. This role is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of residents living in supported accommodation, helping them build skills, confidence and independence and supporting them to access education, training, volunteering and employment opportunities.

As an ETE Coordinator, you will:

  • Build positive and professional relationships with residents, encouraging trust, engagement and participation.
  • Assess residents’ goals, strengths and barriers and develop practical plans to help them progress towards education, training and employment.
  • Support residents with CV writing, job searches, applications, interview preparation and digital skills.
  • Identify and develop links with employers, colleges, training providers, volunteering organisations and other relevant services.
  • Provide ongoing mentoring and support to help residents sustain positive outcomes.
  • Plan and deliver group activities and workshops covering areas such as employability, digital skills, budgeting, cooking and healthy eating, confidence-building and wellbeing.
  • Encourage residents to participate in activities and use their feedback to help shape future opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with Supported Housing Officers, external agencies and other professionals to provide a coordinated service.

What you'll have:

  • Experience of supporting vulnerable adults in housing, social care or community settings.
  • Proven experience of planning, delivering employability, education, training or support programmes.
  • Understanding of barriers to employment and learning.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and professional boundaries.
  • Ability to engage and motivate clients, helping them overcome barriers to employment.
  • Strong communication, IT, organisation and record-keeping skills.
