We are seeking a reliable and organised Stores Person to support our Refrigeration & Air Conditioning team. You will be responsible for managing stock, coordinating equipment and materials, and ensuring our technicians have what they need to deliver high-quality service to our customers. This role is ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail, experience in inventory management, and an understanding of refrigeration/air-conditioning parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock, materials, and equipment
- Organise and maintain an efficient and tidy storeroom
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and complete regular stocktakes
- Issue parts and materials to technicians in a timely manner
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations and place purchase orders
- Monitor deliveries and ensure correct documentation is completed
- Assist with warranty returns and tracking
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or trade-supply environment
- Knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning components (preferred)
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Competent computer skills (inventory & ordering systems)
