We are currently supporting our client, a fast growing technology company, as they look to make an exciting communications hire focused on Internal, Change and Leadership Communications. UK headquartered but with a decentralised culture, our client is an ambitious player within its category with organic and acquisitive growth plans. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Internal Communications rockstar to develop, lead and, in time, grow a holistic and innovative communications function partnering directly with the most senior stakeholders in the organisation.
Role
Core
- Internal Communications – develop best in class internal comms capabilities to be deployed across channels and level, and support a cohesive culture for a decentralised organisation
- Change Communications – support and manage organisational change
- Strategy – devise an innovative, holistic and joined up internal communications strategy for an ever evolving organisation
- Advisory – Be a key voice in internal business strategy sessions to ensure EVP remains a core consideration in commercial decisions
- Stakeholder Relationship – Build and maintain strong, trusted and effective relationships with key stakeholders, including the Founder to further educate on the value of communications and how best to deploy for maximum impact and value
- Leadership Profiling & Thought Leadership – further develop and amplify the profile of senior leaders within the firm, including internal messaging and access
- An eye on the outside – keep a weather eye on changes within the industry and the competitors within
Growth
- Reputation Management – developing the brand’s reputation, as well as develop an active issues and crisis response framework
- External Communications – Building on the EVP, set out a longer term strategic and cerebral communications plan set against against company objectives
Requirements:
- Prior experience, whether agency or in-house in managing an internal communications strategy and ideally change communications program within scaling or high-growth businesses
- Experience building relationships and working with senior leaders from across functions
- Comfortable working in or operating within a geographically decentralised organisation
- Proven experience driving innovative and creative internal communications plans from strategy to execution
- Team player with an energy and zeal for the power of communications, and an advocate for its internal value
