Salary: FTE: £26,403-£28,142 per annum, Pro-rata £16,204-£17,579 per annum, including an allowance for holiday pay

We are seeking an organised and proactive School Staff Instructor (SSI) to support the delivery of the Wymondham College Combined Cadet Force (CCF). The role provides the vital link between the Army and RAF sections, ensuring effective coordination, administration and communication across the contingent.

The post‑holder will be required to comply with the Wymondham College Code of Conduct for Staff and Volunteers and the Trust Code of Conduct. The post‑holder will have access to and be responsible for confidential information and documentation, ensuring it is handled appropriately and accurately. Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of a grade C / 4, or equivalent, in English and Maths

General Responsibilities:

The CCF SSI is responsible for significant instruction of the cadets, administrative arrangements for the RAF and Army sections, arranging camps and other activities, administering the CCF funds, and managing the CCF stores.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Attend weekly parades in uniform
  • Take the lead on all administrative requests received from RAFAC/Westminster and other relevant sources, following up and keeping the Contingent Commander and OCs updated, and maintaining databases and files for both systems
  • Complete all necessary administration/documentation for enlistment of cadets and CFAVs and the commissioning of Adult Volunteers
  • Other duties and responsibilities as reasonably required
