We are a growing primary school, established in September 2019, situated on the new White House Farm Estate in Sprowston, Norwich. Our modern school building and exceptional grounds include two playgrounds, a vast games field, and an outdoor learning classroom creating an exciting and stimulating outdoor learning area for our youngest children. At White House Farm, we believe that children should be curious about their learning. Responsibilities
- Have GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and Mathematics
- Previous experience working with children, preferably primary school age, in a classroom or similar environment
- Have Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent Teaching Assistant qualification
- Be committed to the school’s high standards of teaching, learning and professional development
- Have excellent communication skills, a warm and caring personality, and a good sense of humour
- Understand the importance of an inclusive environment and high expectations on pupil behaviour
- Have a welcoming and friendly approach with a high level of professionalism
- Ensure the safety and well‑being of pupils in adherence with the school procedures while in play areas, the dining hall, classrooms or anywhere on the school site
