THE ROLE

As an ESP / Nurture Teacher you will:

  • be responsible for teaching classes in the Academy using your skill, experience and best endeavours and in accordance with Teachers’ Standards
  • lead the day to day running of our Nurture Classroom, delivering highly personalised, specialist and differentiated learning
  • inspire, motivate and champion students with SEND, ensuring they feel safe, welcomed and supported
  • develop a bespoke curriculum aligned with whole school provision, enabling increased access to mainstream learning
  • work collaboratively with the SENDCo, support staff, external agencies and feeder schools to ensure continuity of care, progress and transition
  • contribute to the wider life of the Academy, including supporting extra curricular activities and whole school initiatives
