We are a rural community primary school situated in the village of Old Buckenham, Norfolk which first opened back in 1963. We are a joint Primary and Nursery School with exceptional grounds that include two playgrounds.

The role is that of a School Caretaker responsible for pro-actively managing the security, care and availability of the school site, building, furniture, fittings and equipment to ensure a satisfactory and safe physical environment and to promote the efficient use of the School’s assets.

Job activities are divided into four categories:

  • Site and Security
  • Preparing Facilities and Cleaning
  • Maintenance and Repairs
  • Monitoring Work and Team Working

Minibus Driver fixed term for 1 year, 15 hours per week, Term time only.

The role is that of a responsible and caring Minibus Driver, ensuring students travel safely to and from school each day. The driver helps create a safe and welcoming start and end to each student’s day, supporting a positive, supportive environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operates the minibus, ensuring safety and compliance with driving regulations.
  • Schedules and manages student pick-ups and drop-offs.
  • Maintains accurate passenger records and safety checks.
  • Communicates with students, parents, and staff regarding transport arrangements.
  • Performs basic vehicle maintenance and reports issues to senior staff.
