PERSON SPECIFICATION

The personal competencies expected of all College support staff are:

The professional competencies expected of a Food Technician are:

  • Have a genuine and keen interest in cooking and food preparation;
  • Have an understanding of recipes, food ordering and food budgeting;
  • Have access to a car and have a full driving licence.

The qualifications and previous experience required for a Food Technician are:

  • A minimum of a grade C / 4, or equivalent, in English and Maths GCSE.
  • Have experience working in the food industry (preferable – not essential).
