We are a rural community primary school situated in the village of Old Buckenham, Norfolk which first opened back in 1963. We are a joint Primary and Nursery School with exceptional grounds that include two playgrounds.
The Role
The School Caretaker is responsible for pro-actively managing the security, care and availability of the school site, the building, furniture, fittings and equipment to ensure a satisfactory and safe physical environment and to promote the efficient use of the School’s assets. Job activities are divided into the following categories: Site and Security, Preparing Facilities and Cleaning, Maintenance and Repairs and Monitoring Work and Team Working.

Fixed term for 1 year, 15 hours per week, Term time only
