Location: Fakenham Academy

Salary: SCP 5 £25,583.00 – SCP 6 £25,989.00 FTE. Pro Rata: £10,979 – £11,351 per annum.

Vacancy Type: Fixed Term – initially until 31 August 2027.

Hours: 18 hours per week – Term Time plus 2 weeks – Monday, Wednesday & Friday.

Start Date: September 2026.

Role: We are seeking a part‑time Art & Technology Technician to support the busy Technology & Art Department. The role involves providing technical support, managing resources, maintaining equipment and ensuring compliance with health and safety. You will also deliver day‑to‑day support to teachers and students during lessons.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and maintain equipment.
  • Manage a varied workload and learn new skills effectively.
  • Work as a team player with enthusiasm, adaptability and resilience.
  • Deliver day‑to‑day support to teaching staff and students during lessons.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Good organisational and technical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Successful candidates will undertake an enhanced DBS and all necessary safeguarding checks before employment.
