Sapiens UK is seeking a software implementation Project Manager/Project Director to join our expanding team of insurance technology software professionals, working with the Life Insurance & Pensions Division of the business. Our ideal candidate will be an experienced Technical Project Manager who has managed large complex transformation projects - upwards of 2 years, who is looking for the next step in their career. You will understand and manage the delicate balance of ensuring the profitable growth of Sapiens’ business in a defined account/territory, ensuring quality project delivery, achieving its financial targets, whilst ensuring that customer satisfaction and loyalty are optimized. You will have ultimate responsibility and final authority regarding the customer.
Location: Ideally candidates will be from Cardiff or within a reasonable commutable distance, however, we will consider remote (within UK) who are an excellent match. Please note we are not offering Visa/relocation support.

- Customer management: Responsible for the well-being of long-term customer relationship and customer satisfaction. The aim is to be valued by the customer as a trusted advisor and a reliable focal point for business and systems issues.
- Growth management: Driving constantly to grow the business with the customer by identifying and promoting business opportunities where Sapiens’ added value is needed. Penetrating new segments within existing customers.
- Delivery Management: The Program Director is the final point of accountability for ensuring quality, timely and on-budget delivery of Sapiens’ operations, solutions, and projects. You will work hand in hand with the delivery managers to optimise delivery.
- P&L Management: Manage the P&L with the customer and be responsible for meeting the AOP targets, continuously focusing on lowering the total cost of ownership for the customer.
What you need to succeed …
- 10+ years of management experience (staff and budget responsibility) in service delivery within a global enterprise software solutions company.
- A background of working within Life & Pensions Insurance industry will be a big advantage.
- Familiar with Agile methodology.
- Proven experience of leading international clients and engagement teams through the delivery of complex software solutions, juggling competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Proven experience of growing business with existing customers.
- Excellent client relationship management skills and the ability to play a trusted advisor to C-level customer executives.
- Management expertise with the ability to hire, mentor, coach and develop a globally dispersed high performing Professional Services team.
- Experience of working within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills (additional languages are an advantage).
- Ability to be able to travel to meet with clients face to face is a must. International travel will be involved.
